Mortgages and loans are major financial commitments and to help provide you with peace of mind, it is strongly recommended that you take advantage of the Accident, Sickness and Unemployment insurance plans available with mortgages and loans.

Do I have to send lots of confidential information over the internet?
No. You don't have to send any information over the internet if you do not wish to. At any stage please feel free to call a mortgage or loan adviser. Alternatively, fill in our call me or email forms for an eligibility check and to receive application details.

Can I send my mortgage requirements to you by email?
Yes that's fine. Please use our email form.

How much will it cost me to apply for a mortgage from this internet site?
The information provided by this service is available entirely free of charge. When you apply for a mortgage, you should expect charges for things such as application fees, valuation reports and so on required by the Lender, which, typically, will be common to any mortgage application. These costs will be made very clear to you before you make any commitment for a loan. In certain circumstances (some adverse credit mortgages, for instance), a broker fee may be charged. Again, you will be fully informed of any such charge before you commit to anything.

Can I get a written quotation?
Yes. When you phone a professional mortgage adviser, arrangements will be made to send you a full quotation which fully complies with the requirements of the Code of Mortgage Lending Practice.

Are your strategic partners for mortgages and loans a recognised mortgage company?
Yes. We have selected The Mortgage Operation (TMO) and their MLG online mortgage advisers, as our "Best of Breed" strategic partner, being one of the UK's biggest independent mortgage finance companies. Mortgage advisers handling your enquiry are registered with the Mortgage Code Compliance Board and fully support the Council of Mortgage Lenders Code of Mortgage Lending Practice. Secured loan advisers handling you enquiry, are registered with the Finance Industry Standards Association (FISA), fully support the FISA Code of Conduct and strictly adhere to it.

If my mortgage requirements are non standard, can you help?

Bad Credit Terms
Terms used when describing the nature of an adverse credit rating. For definitions of any other terms or descriptions that are confusing, please see the comprehensive glossary on this web site.

Adverse Credit
If a borrower has a history of poor credit usage then this is described as Adverse Credit, Sub Prime or just simply, Bad Credit. Poor Credit history can include County Court Judgements(CCJ's), Bankruptcy, Mortgage arrears or any late payments on credit cards, credit arrangements etc.

Arrears
This describes the amount the borrower is behind in his mortgage repayments schedule. The amount is usually measured in either pounds or months.

Bankrupt
A Corporation, Firm or individual who, via a court proceeding, is relieved from paying all debts once assets have been surrendered to an appointed third party designated by the court.

County Court Judgements (CCJ)
An adverse ruling by a County Court against a person who has not satisfied their debt payments with their creditors. Once the ruling has taken place it will be recorded against the persons credit history and will appear every time a credit search is done for the next seven years. If a person has a County Court Judgement against them it will have to be satisfied before they can get a mortgage. They will also find that the mortgages they can get will be at a higher interest rate.

Default
Failure of an individual to make payments on a mortgage at the correct time or to not comply with the mortgage companies requirements.
